GETTING STARTED

You can book a session by using my online scheduling link.

The first session is mostly about getting a clear picture of what’s been going on. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to be different. I’ll ask some background questions, share how I work, and we’ll decide together what our focus should be moving forward.
INSURANCE AND PAYMENT

My session fee is $150 per 53 minutes.

Yes. I accept certain insurance plans through Headway (such as Horizon BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, and Oxford), and I also offer private pay options. If you’d like to use insurance, you’ll be able to verify your benefits and eligibility through Headway before we meet. If you prefer to pay out of pocket, I can provide a statement you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.

In most cases, yes. If your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) covers mental health services, you can typically use those funds for sessions. Many clients use their FSA/HSA card directly or submit receipts for reimbursement. You can always check with your benefits provider to confirm what’s covered.

It depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some people come in for a shorter, focused stretch (a few months) to work on specific patterns in their relationships or anxiety. Others stay longer-term to deepen the work and maintain support. We’ll check in regularly about what’s working, what’s shifting, and whether it makes sense to continue, pause, or wrap up.

We might, but not just to dig things up for the sake of it. If your early experiences are connected to how you show up in relationships now (people-pleasing, shutting down, staying “strong,” etc.), we’ll look at that with intention. The goal is always to understand how the past shows up in the present so you can respond differently now, not stay stuck in old stories.
ABOUT THE PROCESS

I’m direct, warm, and collaborative. I won’t just nod and ask, “How does that make you feel?” every week. We’ll pay attention to patterns — especially how anxiety, people-pleasing, shutdown, or strong reactions show up in your relationships. I use relational, trauma-informed approaches (including RLT-informed work) to help you notice what’s happening in the moment, name it clearly, and practice new ways of responding.

That’s more common than you think. You don’t need to come in with a polished agenda. Sometimes we start with “things feel off, but I don’t know why.” I’ll ask grounding questions to help us get specific: what’s been bothering you, where you feel stuck, and what you’d like to feel less of or more of. From there, we’ll build a focus together.

I do not offer in person sessions at this time.
All sessions are conducted via HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

I am located in New Jersey and I am licensed to see clients who are physically sitting in NJ during time of sessions.
However, my practice is 100% online and all sessions are held via telehealth.
